We have the greatest gift, it's eternal life in Jesus Christ!
This year we are reminded that the most important things in life are not material. Lewis & I are both laid-off, and though we have been searching and applying daily, we rest in the promises of Jehovah Jireh, our provider. His grace is sufficient for us. When we look around at all God has blessed us with, family, friends, church family and so much more... we are thankful.
The slideshow is filled with Christmas pictures taken here in our new house in Spirit Lake on Christmas Eve. Jed made some gifts for the others and we have pictures to show his talents. Above, Sierra is holding a bronc halter piece that will be added to a new pink halter for her horse Promise. Dakota is holding two crosses, made to hang in the pick-up from the mirror. One of these is his, the other for a friend of Jed's. Montana is proudly showing off a gun holster with his initials stamped on it. He still loves to play with toy guns like a Jr. John Wayne.
We were also blessed by various friends and church members who generously sent gifts for our family. The kids had such fun opening them and are enjoying them on this snowy winter break.
We miss all our family and friends in Boise, Richfield, California, and now Natick, Maine! We pray that the lord will help us all stay close. I hope this blog will be a blessing to you all and help us stay in touch.
Happy New Year!
Dakota, a die-hard colts fan, received a hat. Jed asked for jumper cables for his truck. He'll be driving soon!It has been so nice to be home with them for the break, and having Lewis too! At times it feels like we're on vacation. Then the reality sets in and it's back to shoveling snow, and shoveling snow, and... Yes, we've had almost 5 feet of snow here in Spirit Lake, and the winter has just begun. It is beautiful up here and the snow is fun....... when your not driving or shoveling.
